Advantages of whole-genome sequencing over targeted approaches:
Whole genome sequencing (WGS) allows the detection of the entire genome of an organism from a biological sample, adding an additional level of clarity to taxonomic classification down to the species and strain levels. This method effectively identifies and profiles bacteria, fungi, viruses and parasites simultaneously with a species level resolution. Possible downstream applications include annotation of potential metabolic processes and microbial gene profiling that facilitates microbiome functional studies. WGS can also be used to identify novel causes of genetic disease.

How do I open an account and become a Floré Clinical Provider?
Simply Click on the Become a Provider at the top of the page. You will need proof of license and other documents to qualify to open an account. Only qualified healthcare practitioners can apply to become a Floré Clinical Provider.
How long does it take to get results and Clinical products?
Most test results will be available in 17 –21 days. If you order includes custom probiotics and or prebiotics they will be manufactured and shipped in 5 business days. You can track test results and patient formulations in the provider portal at organizations.flore.com.
